The elastic band was no longer working to hold up my pants, so I had to go get maternity jeans. I picked up a pair of skinny jeans at Old Navy for $34. Then I stopped by Goodwill and found two great pairs of Gap maternity jeans for $5 each!!!! Just another reason I love thrifting!
Shirt: (Old Navy), Pants: (Gap via Goodwill), Blazer: (Loft via Goodwill), Shoes: ($12 shoe shop in California)
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! My daughter and I went shopping for boots but I also came out with this blouse and scarf from Old Navy! The color makes me think of warmer weather, even though we are having another snow storm today
This is the same outfit I wore on this post last year. I’m trying to hold off on buying new clothes as much as possible. Right now I’m still in my regular pants with an elastic hair tie around the button to keep them up.
Turtleneck:(Gap), Skirt:(It was an empire waist maxi dress and I chopped of the top), Necklace:(Loft)
Well I’ve decided to stop posting on my little blog. I started this to help lose weight after my third baby. I kept it going because I really do love sharing my thrifty finds and bargains.
Lately it’s become a little bit of a burden and I don’t have a lot of time for it. Maybe someday I’ll be back but for now It’s goodbye. Thank you for visiting my little space on the internet, and all of the sweet comments!
Jeans, Sweater, shirt:(Old Navy), Boots:(I’ve wanted these forever and finally bought a pair from ebay)
I’ve worn these sweater arms before with taller boots, but I love how they look with ankle boots too! The sweater is from Goodwill for $3.99. The great thing about getting a sweater from Goodwill is everything is organized by color.
Jeans, Sweater:(Old Navy), Shirt:(Loft via Goodwill), Boots:(Clothes Closet)
Five years ago my mom and I decided to go to NYC for 3 days. It was totally a spur of the moment decision. I had two babies at that point and had never left them for even one night. My mom and I had a great time. We shopped and saw the sights! I found this gray cardigan at the huge Macy’s in the Garment District. Whenever I wear it I’m reminded of that wonderful adventure my mom and I shared!
I love this plaid scarf. This weekend my husband and I get to have a little date, and I plan on picking up another plaid scarf. We have other plans too, but of course shopping will fit in there somewhere!
Jean Shirt:(old navy) Scarf:(Target), Pants:(Tj Maxx)
I took the kids to Old Navy to buy some pants and I picked up this sweater for $12. I like this one too, but they didn’t have my size. Now that I know they are under $7 we will be visiting another Old Navy soon to hunt one down!
This time of year I always get the urge to chop my hair, I blame the weather. I’m considering a long bob. Although I realized since I’ve had this blog for 2 years, I’ve had a long bob somewhere along the way. I found it here and here.
Vest, Bag:(Tj Maxx), Jeans:(Gap via Goodwill), Sweater:(Goodwill)
It’s been 2 years since I started my blog. I’ve lost a lot of weight and grew a lot more hair. Here is my first post and some of my favorites. If you go to the Archive button on the right, you can revisit old posts.
We bought a power rack a few weeks ago. With the other weight equipment that we have, I decided to drop my gym membership and workout at home instead. After the kids go to bed, you’ll find me in the garage!
This romper is from the Loft and it was $4.88, but a size 10. I decided to buy it anyway and took a couple of inches in on each side. It was an extra 40% so it ended up being $2.93!!!! Totally worth it!!!!!
I love the Loft, but anything full price is a little too pricey for me. Luckily everything at the Loft goes on sale pretty quickly! So I just have to wait it out, and then I can score something like this cute jumpsuit that was originally $79 for $14.99!!!
There are some pretty awesome sales going on right now. I picked up this necklace for $13 originally $50, and the black and white pants for $6.30, originally $44!!! Both were from Francesca’s. I never shop there but had time to kill so I stopped in. Lucky me!!!!
The school year has begun and as always its CRAZY, so sorry for the absence!!!! I’m really into these little vest. I’ve been wearing it with my spaghetti strap maxi dresses, that would otherwise be inappropriate for school.
Vest:(Old Navy recent), Belt, Jumpsuit, glasses:(old Forever 21),
This shirt was a gift from a friend last year. I saw it at H&M for $24, but didn’t buy it. So when she came in and told me that it didn’t fit, and asked if I wanted it, I didn’t hesitate!!! Goodwill can’t even beat that deal!
Shirt:(Free via H&M), Shorts:(Old Navy), Purse:(Tj Maxx)
I found this dress at Goodwill but it’s from Target! It is light and has pockets so it couldn’t be better! Also, we have made some changes to our house already. I can’t wait to share them later this week!
I picked this dress up from the Gap last week. You can choose to wear it as a tea length (which I’m wearing) a maxi dress, or a maxi skirt! I will definitely wear it as a Maxi skirt when school starts with a simple t-shirt!
Dress:(Gap), Bag:(Gap $12 with the 40% off sale price), Flip flops:(Old Navy)
I love decorating a new space. I tried to lighten up the area by adding blues and whites. If any of you have any suggestions on how to make it better I would LOVE to hear some ideas! Again, when it comes to decorating my husband says “it looks good” and walks away!
This is our new home! The doors got a fresh coat of red paint the very first week that we were in the house. Before they were a very worn out burgundy. It made a big difference and really brightened it up.
I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!!!! I’ll keep it short, the top and shoes are from Goodwill, and the pants are from the Gap. I bought them yesterday, and with 40% off their sale items, these lovely pants were $12!!!!!!
